On September 25, the chief professor appointment ceremony for Professor WANG Ming-yang, who comes from PLA University of science and Technology, was held in Room 201, in western conference center. The ceremony was held by Professor LI Xin-ping, the deputy director of the Hubei Key Laboratory of Roadway Bridge and Structural Engineering. The main leaders include ZHANG An-fu and WANG Qian-kun , the Vice-Chancellor of Wuhan University of Technology; XIA Yuan-you, Dean of School of Civil Engineering and Architecture; LIU Mu-yu, Director of Hubei Key Laboratory of Roadway Bridge and Structural Engineering. And also, some teachers and graduate student representatives, more than 300 persons totally, attended the meeting.

Director LIU Mu-yu introduced the basic information and main research topics and results of Professor WANG Min-yang firstly. Then, Vice-Chancellor, ZHANG An-fu, awarded the appointment certificate of "Chief Professor" to Professor WANG Min-yang on the behalf of ZHANG Qing-jie, the Chancellor of Wuhan University of Technology. Professor WANG Ming-yang accepted the certification happily and he hope he can do some work and contribution for the personnel training, scientific research and discipline construction. Vice-Chancellor, WANG Qian-kun expressed welcome and gratitude to Professor WANG Ming-yang for his accept the invitation of chief professor lastly.
