WANG Ming-yang: born in 1966, PhD, professor, doctoral supervisor, director of the explosion shock of state key laboratory of disaster prevention and mitigation, and the chair professor in the state key discipline protection engineering, leading talent of national "ten thousand project", person in charge of the national innovation team in key field, the winner of the national science fund for distinguished young scholars, distinguished professor of the ministry of education "Cheung Kong scholars program", person in charge of the national innovation team of the ministry of education, military high-level innovative talents of science and technology innovation, chief scientist of Jiangsu province. Vice president of Chinese team of International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), vice chairman of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering (CSRME), chairman of engineering safety and protection branch of CSRME, vice director of Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of CSRME, vice director of Rock Physical and Mathematical Simulation Professional Committee of CSRME, committee member of Mechanics of Explosion Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.

    Focusing on the problem of improvement of protection ability protection engineering of the state and the army under the circumstance of information warfare, especially the super-high resistance ability of the protection projection, professor WANG Ming-yang has done lots of work in recent twenty years. He has proposed the build methods for evaluation index in warfare, design theory, construction methods and new structure forms. He has hosted and finished twelve key research task assigned by the state and the army, and won the first prize of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology one time (ranking two), and the second prize of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology three time (ranking first, third and fourth respectively), and also won the first prize of Military Prize for Progress in Science and Technology six time (ranking first one time and ranking second four times). He has published 156 academic papers, in which 93 papers have been recruited by SCI and EI. And also, he has published two books.

    Professor WANG Ming-yang is a young experts in the field of protection projects in China, enjoy special government allowances of state, won the 8th session of the Chinese Youth Science and Technology Award, outstanding scientific and technological workers, outstanding professional and technical person awarded by the army. He, personally, has been awarded the secondary feat twice, and the innovation team, under his leadership, has won the congregate secondary feat once. He has also become a effective candidate for Chinese Academy of Engineering in the year of 2013.
