On June 20, 2014, Professor LI Zheng-nong, came from Hunan University, was invited to give his report " field measurement research on wind induced response of high-rise building " in library lecture hall in west campus. The report was hosted by professor XU Jia-yun, and many teachers and students listened to the report seriously.

The report introduced the following topics: the basic research background of structure wind resistance, field test of high-rise building, site measurement of typhoon wind field and wind pressure characters, the comparison between wind tunnel test on wind pressure and site measurement of wind pressure characters, elevator horizontal wind load calculation, etc.

    Active discussion was carried out after the wonderful report, and professor LI exchanged his ideas with the teachers and students. The teachers and the students felt benefit a lot from this report.
